My name is Christopher Rutledge. I am an Animator/CG Artist/ "Filmmaker" currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
I freelance as a 3D Generalist primarily doing FX work, motion graphics, and lighting for commercial projects, but in my spare time as much as possible like to create my own work.
I am a huge nerd obsessed with the technical and exploring how I can use that to push new styles of animation, visuals, and storytelling.
I also have a passion for teaching and helping others learn. I recently created HOUDININERD.COM to serve as a resource to point people to who are interested in learning (my favorite) 3D software, Houdini. I have a few of my own tutorials linked on there and plan to make more as well. I am also doing workshops on houdini and CG throughout NYC.
